General Terms of Use

All users benefiting from Hostagen Web Hosting services are required to comply with the following terms of use and user agreement.

General Rules and Restrictions

1. The email quota per account is set at 1 GB. The hourly email sending limit is 150 emails. Hostagen reserves the right to change this limit.

2. Backups taken by users may be stored in the system for 15 days and may be automatically deleted afterwards.

3. Web hosting services may not be used as a file sharing platform, data storage, download center, or backup area.

4. Bulk or spam email sending is strictly prohibited. Hostagen reserves the right to restrict hourly sending limits if necessary.

5. Customers are responsible for backing up their own data. Our company cannot be held liable for any potential data loss.

6. Free website migration is offered; however, 100% transfer success is not guaranteed.

7. Unlimited resources are subject to fair usage. Within reasonable use, the monthly bandwidth limit is 50GB and disk usage is limited to 10GB.

8. The CPU usage limit in standard packages is 50% of a single core, and it may reach up to 100% in specific packages.

9. Hosting packages are subject to an inode limit of 150,000 files.

10. Parked or alias domains may only be used as duplicates of the main website. If used for other purposes, Hostagen may suspend the related service.

11. Only domains owned by the user may be used in hosting accounts. If a domain belongs to another person, proof of usage rights must be provided by the customer.

12. Functions or libraries that may threaten shared hosting security are not allowed.

13. SSH access is not provided in shared hosting services.

14. The use of functions such as exec, escapeshellarg, popen, proc_open is prohibited.

15. Hostagen reserves the right to monitor resource usage and restrict accounts that exceed set limits.

16. In necessary situations, Hostagen reserves the right to make changes to IPs, servers, or infrastructure.

17. Campaigns, discounts, and promotions are exclusive to individuals or companies. If misuse is detected, related accounts may be suspended.

18. Users may not open multiple accounts to bypass rules. If detected, related accounts may be terminated.

19. Hostagen reserves the right to terminate any service without justification and to issue a refund.

Prohibited Content and Domains

Domains and websites containing the following types of content may not be hosted on Hostagen services:

• Websites involved in illegal activities,

• Sites containing spam, phishing, or malware,

• Automated content, proxy services, botnets, or DDoS tools that generate high traffic consumption,

• Sites promoting scams such as lottery, betting, gambling, HYIP, Ponzi, or pyramid schemes,

• Platforms offering illegal or copyright-infringing content,

• Systems used for cryptocurrency or Bitcoin mining.

Acceptable Use Policy

Customers using Hostagen services must comply with the following rules:

• Do not host viruses, malware, or similar harmful content,

• Do not violate the privacy rights of third parties,

• Do not host content that infringes on intellectual property rights,

• Do not send spam or unauthorized advertisements,

• Do not harm Hostagen’s or other customers’ systems.

Policies and User Responsibilities

1. Hostagen is committed to providing high-performance and secure services to all users.

2. Disk, bandwidth, and CPU usage limits are established to ensure balanced resource usage among users.

3. Our spam policy is based on zero tolerance. Accounts found to be sending spam may be suspended.

4. Users are responsible for creating their own backups. Hostagen’s backup services are for additional security purposes only, and users are advised to maintain their own backups to mitigate data loss risks.

5. Fair usage policy is enforced to ensure equal resource distribution among all users.

These terms of use may be updated by Hostagen when deemed necessary. Updated terms shall apply to all existing and new customers.
